Last week, I was planning to go to a thrift store to spend an extra 20 bucks I had on hand (not knowing exactly what I wanted in particular, maybe some clothes or something). I went on Friday, and first off I went to the clothes section but I couldn't really find anything good (exept a pair of really NICE American Eagle jeans for $7, which BTW I don't know why I didn't buy; going off-topic) so I went to the back in hopes of finding something. I didnt even know they had records there (I think you know where this is going); there was a huge shelf of record albums, plus boxes of albums beneath and all around it. The FIRST box I look thru had something amazing in it-I didn't even pay attention to it at first, but I pulled it out and it was the sleeve for INVISIBLE TOUCH! I took out the record and--what? "The color of money??!" what the hell is that?! I looked thru the rest of the box and couldn't find the actual IT, just the sleeve
I KNEW it was too good to be true (to find the IT album for $1 at a thrift store)! Oh well- after looking thru hundred of records, I walk out with a Footloose soundtrack (for a dollar) and a free, empty, Invisble Touch sleeve. (I was allowed to have the sleeve for free. Aren't I obsessive?) I was PO'ed, I ALMOST finally got my #1 favourite Genesis album.
But anyway, I found IT on ebay for 6.25 including shipping, so I ordered it.
Also, I got a frame for my autographed Phil photo on Saturday at michael's, lol!
